Default business advice???????

Morning

Well as in one off my prevouse threads iv been thinking about how i can improve my little hobby/business

After thinking about it alot and talking too a few people they have all said that im good at every aspect off it except the selling part.

So iv decided to try and get a partner/ investor in (partner buys in basically)

Dont get me wrong i could crack on by myself but im better admitting im not good at everything espeacilly sales. And the fact my laptop only goes on 1 website......... here (god thats sad) lol.

So are there any sites about that i can advertise for some one?

What is your business Pikey?

I've always found people who are good at sales are a goddamn nightmare to work with!

One of the big car parts suppliers was looking for mechanics to install the bits they provide. If that is of any interest I will trawl thro' my deleted folder to see if I still have it.

So they do the selling and you do the work. dl

Yes mate i have unit tools lifts yard space etc. plus alot off bits already. they would need to deal with advertising and selling bit.

Wouldnt really want to do the fitting bit on a big scale its best being left to speacilists. But thanks for the offer.

Set up ur own Ebay Shop Pikey. If people have direct contact with you as well you could well build up alot of repeat customers providing your customer service skills are good.

I use a company called Autolusso on ebay for alot of bits i need for my car, although i did bid on parts from them in the past, now i just pick up the phone and ask them do they have it a particular bit and go from there.

Its not a salesman you want is it. It's someone to administer an ebay account for you.

Really this is quite simple and you should be doing it yourself and not even thinking about paying someone else. I can't see you being able to afford to pay someone else. Do you know what's involved? NI, Employers Contributions, Income Tax...

If i really wanted to employ some one else i would do. But im wanting a partner in it all mate.

If you have employes they have nothing to loose and you havee to keep your eye on them, If you have a partner they have just as much to gain or loose so things will progress quicker and better

Thats just my way off thinking.
