Hello lads, ive had a 8520 for 10 days but due to o2 being ***** its getting sent back, goin to vodafone instead and i was wondering is the 9700 worth paying a bit more each month for than the 8520?

The 9700 is the next step up from the 8520.
Depends really on if you are happy with the cost and tariff, if you need/want a slightly better camera, and if you need/want 3G
The differences are slight to some people. Also runs OS 5.0 which is a step in the right direction too.
Long and short of it, the extra monthly cost is basically gonna get you on 3G... If you prefer that over 2G and EDGE, by all means.
As for me, im happy with my 8520
PS, Orange look to have one of the best packages on the 8520, £19.57 a month on Panther 25.
