Great stadium. Went to watch Leeds play like kippers there last season. The silence from the 'home' fans was weird despite them winning with ease.

No queuing for a slash, and it'll be one of the best grounds in the UK once the top bit is opened up. Leg room and facilities are on par with The Emirates Stadium.

It will be a touch eerie for the MK Dons with only 4k in there though.......

Im surprised that Pride Park was rejected, its a brand new stadium. On a positive note Hillsborough is part of the bid

That was in the local papers up there for a while that they were hoping for a short list in the last few.

Having lived in MK until last month I hope that we do get it, as the council have invested a hell of a lot in Stadium MK.

I think the actual stadium is only part of the bidding process. Hotel room availability and transport links are also key.

I heard the local mong factor also come into it.
