He has gone. At last!!
He was at least ten years past his sell by date. A bit like the last years of Murray Walker. There is at least one other BBC man that is at least ten years past his best as well!
Why do they hang on to them!

Wogan was comedy genius in the mornings with his ridiculous poems from ficticious listeners but i do ike Ken Bruce and the egendary Steve Wright. Can't stomach Chris Evans personally but he has got to be better than that dross on R1

Chris Moyles is also past his sell by date and should shuffle on.Am glad that there is some competition now, with Evans.Hopefully, this will mark the end of Moyles and his boring ramblings, disguised as humour

I'm amazed at just how many people listen to the Government propaganda radio stations! I did laugh the other week in a shop which was blasting out Radio 2 and what was on... Neil Young's Keep on rocking in the free world !! Arseholes!

Wogan was perfect for his audience - 8 million - and had that special Irish gift of laid back, relaxed banter.
And give him credit for his Eurovision **** take.
Put Bruce Forsyth out to grass and shoot Moyles.

I actually don't mind Terry and although Chris is good, some of his show is a bit tedious.
Radcliffe & Maconie is very funny - I think Radcliffe did a few shows with Lisa Tarbuck and they were hilarious.
I like Moyles on R1 but the music they play is just so awful. I can't cope with R&B, rap and Cheryl Coil which is all they seem to play.

I had a lot of time for Terry Wogan. His relaxed style was fine by me and his clever wit and gentle banter was difficult to beat. I think it is wrong to say he is big headed and his humour was never destructive. It did not need to be in order to force a laugh. That is the brilliance of the man.

If you regard blatant xenophobia as not being destructive then I guess you are right.
I thought he was objectionable on Eurovision and dull and self-regarding on the radio.

Wogan was ok, quite soothing to listen to, better that that some of the Radio 1 cretins, bloody Fearne Cotton, what an air head, Moyles can be very funny but probably due a change, he was the best since Evans as Zoe Ball was a bit crap as was Sara ***, agreee on Mark and Lard but I think they really only appeal to a Northern men of a certain age.
