Default Working from home in the snow :)

I decided that since the kids were off school and I was pretty much snowed in, that working from home would be a great idea

Obviously I did sod all work

Instead we got the kids all wrapped up and then set off for our nearest hill

Then told them that to keep warm, you need to RUN !!!!

The view from the top of the hill

Daddy just checking the slope was okay

Now unfortunately we had no sledges so we improvised with the lid off the recycling bin and heavy duty bin bags

They loved it and were going faster than some kids who turned up with proper sledges

And finally not to be outdone, Ms Swiss had a go. Note the graceful dismount at the end

And guess what ?
When we finally got home, all exhausted and wet, we found that the postman had been and delivered two shiny new sledges...
Oh well, there is always the weekend

Myself

I gave myself a stern telling off for not making the effort to dig the car out and so as to atone for my lacklustre and slackness, I helped dig out the neighbours driveway. Then rewarded myself and the good lady by polishing off a full bottle of mulled wine later on

Nope, as the HR dept couldnt give a toss and in fact are just as lazy

Saying that, I have made the effort to come in today. Station car park was a bit touch and go and nicely demonstrated a full drift into a suitable car parking space, all this in a FWD drive Mondeo
( to be fair the space was huge )

One other director has slipped over and damaged his back...feeble excuse for not making it in

We fully intend to this weekend. Though ms swiss and I might just do it ourselves as kids these days are a big bunch of moaning minnies. Honestly they moaned and winged all the way home that they were too cold, they couldnt feel their legs/hands, the snow was too deep, their head hurt, the sun was too bright etc etc .
I remember as kids we used to play out in the snow for hours and hours until it either got dark or our fingers dropped off
