Sounds like its not just my shell garage then, u must ask or they keep them for themselves the thieving gits!!!! Everytime I ask I get the same answer 'oh sorry m8 didn't see you had put optimax in' yeah right!!!! u just turned the pump on and charged me for the petrol u tw@t, they are full of it!!!!

I had to ask for mine tonight. The attendant looked around for about 30 seconds as she didn't know where they were, lo and behold they were right next to her!!!
I looked at the card after I'd walked out and noticed two small scratches at the bottom of the removable square. You could see it was red underneath. Now call me cinical but do you think they'd check a few to see if they were winners???

I fill up every other day due to the amount of driving i do and have always filled up with optimax and never been offered one of these cards!, are they region specific?, if not i feel an email to Shell comming on!

What will give it away is the 2 stone a month the cashier will be putting on from eating all our bloody snickers bars [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]
When I asked for my last one they told me they had run out so I made them write me out a receipt for one, not having them take the p!ss anymore!!!

Just filled up at lunchtime (54litres of the stuff, she was empty)
and I was expecting the usual where I have to ask for it and the guy handed me 3 scratch cards!!!!! wow!
and I won a snickers bar!!!
Mind you I am sure they have put the price of Optimax up to cover it! paid 77p a litre...

Well this tank I was driving it rather lightly and I got wait for it......
310miles!!! da darrrr
Which I think was pretty good.. most of it was motorway and cruising at about 80 - 90mph.
Last week I got 250miles to similar amount mind...
On holiday towing my trailer tent in a couple of weeks time so I'll either do really well cruising at 60-70mph or really bad due to the extra 400kgs attached to the back.

That is a MY96 Wagon.. most I ever got from normal unleaded was about 290miles and I have had 320 out of a tank of Optimax..
Just as it picks up slightly better I tend to put my foot down more.. needs disapline to see the extra MPG.
