I have just reversed into my neighbours friends Ford Galaxy.
My car is ok, but I think the Galaxy needs a new rear bumper![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)

Has any one got any idea how much a new bumper, spraying and fitting will cost? (it is a big bumper)
Any help would be great.
Thanks

Victoria,
Agreed the Galaxy is a stupid car, but surely the point is that it would be better if people didn't reverse into other people's cars????
Regards,
tiggers.

I used to work in a Ford bodyshop, I've fitted loads of them bumpers.... I have absolutely no idea what they cost though![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
I know they're a pain to fit though, especially if they have a bumper
I'd guess it would quite easily make a mess of £500![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)

Plastic welding your own damage is OK, but if it was my car that was hit, I'd be after a new bumper as anyone else on here would.
I know its a complete ****ter when this happens, as I did exactly the same trick reversing off my parents drive some years ago. Reversed into a parked car outside the neighbours house.
The only thing to do is get three quotes together for the repair and then decide whether its worth stumping up the dosh, especially if it means the loss of no-claims bonus.
