You have to visit the Venetian hotel its amazing, complete replica of Venice inside with gondolas buildings opera singers and the biggest casino in the world to boot In the evening there is a smallish bar inside the MGM grand which is really good and there are some good bars in New York New York as well. The Stratosphere tower is well worth visiting if you dont mind heights but i wasn't brave enough to go on the rides at the top of the tower
have a good time (i'm not at all jealous)

I stayed in the bellagio and it was brilliant. Stratasphire tower is brilliant for seeing the strip and a couple of mental rides on the top The wynn hotels are really really posh! Just enjoy and go to all the casino's they are huge!

Christ where do you start !!
Shopping try the fashion mall near the wynn hotel or the designer outlet one near the strat tower the one near the airport ain't worth the visit.
Keep the other half away from the shops in the bellagio you will be ruined !!!
If you want to do a circ de solair show get your tickets straight away as it does sell out quickly for dates you may want.
If it's still there the piano bar is ok in new York new York, then if studio 54 is still open it's a night club in the MGM grand that's a decent place for a drink on a Saturday night. Another bar worth doing is, think it's called the vodoo lounge and it's on top of a hotel with a terrace overlooking Vegas think it might be the rio hotel.
Shopping in ceasers palace is very good and they have there own fountain type show in the mall which is a must to see
Don't miss the treasure island show with the two pirate ships again it's an outdoor free show worth seeing.
Don't bother going as far up the strip to see the pyramid hotel it's nothing special
You could do the grand canyon if you have time and the Hoover dam both worth a look if you have the cash.
Trust me travel light out there cos you will come back with some extra clothing !!!!!

mate you will love it, make sure you check out the NASCAR cafe, they have a spot on rollercoster on the roof and more importantly they have 8 de-commissioned nascars all setup on hydrolics and when i went there albeit 6-7 years ago they were meant to be the most realistic simultor in the states.
well worth a visit all i will say is on the first go dont sit there with your foot to the floor as you will be in for a shock if you do
best of luck and enjoy

The Venetian is a very good hotel, well worth a visit. This is inside on the second floor
Vegas was a total (pleasent) surprise for me, I had expectations of an upmarket Southend before I went.........how wrong can you be and enjoyed every minute. You can't walk about without going through a gaming area, got in the habit of putting a Dollar into a random machine everytime we came across a Casino....and won more than we lost.

Deffo do the helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon. Think we went with Sundance - burgundy coloured helicopters - couldn't fault them and the champagne breakfast in the canyon was nice.
Hoover Dam is a must to, make sure you go up to the Freemont Street Experience, very worth while and you will see the Las Vegas that you always see in the older American films, can't go wrong with a all you can eat buffet for $7.77 in the Plaza!
Also get on the douche bus or whatever it's called - only a few dollars for an all day ticket and travel to the outlet mall at the end of the strip past the airport - well worth a visit.
I wanna go back now lol!

O you lucky man
Went a couple of years ago, stayed at the Stratosphere and visited most of the other hotels, won $2200 in the first 3 days on the slots so that sort of coverd us, got married at the Little White Chaple, cost us about $500, had to be done Took a helicopter out to the Grand Canyon, again has to be done Then get yourselves down to The Gun Store | Las Vegas they have every weapon you can think of
Last but not least, relax and enjoy

GOOD:
Slot machines in the Airport make you realise you've arrived
All Hotels - Each one offers something different and worth wandering around, if only to stop you gambling for a few hours
Grand Canyon Tour - Plane or Helicopter
(Our Pilot thought he was Tom Cruise, despite looking about 12...)
New York Rollercoaster - About $10 ish IIRC
BAD:
None of the slot machines chuck out money, just a slip with your winnings on it which I was a little disappointed about.
Some of the off strip casino's still did a few years ago, not sure now though.
Lurkers - People waiting for you to stop playing a machine you've been losing on
If you walk in between Hotels towards the strasphere end of the strip you'll have guys trying to hand you stripper cards etc every few feet - very annoying
TIPS:
Make sure you have an amount to gamble each day and stick to it - very easy to chase losses out there and be out of money on day 1.
My wife was losing money faster than I could win it
Some casino's do free tutorials on table games in the morning(Card, Roulette & Cr*ps)
Have fun

We tried a few of the usual suspects the first time - M16, AK47, MP5, Glock and then last time we just asked for the biggest gun they had
Well funny - the recoil and muzzle flash were comical. I can't remember what it was though...

we were there in June at Planet Hollywood
where you staying?
try get a discount voucher booklet they hand out.. 2-4-1 etc or half price to things like the Eiffle Tower etc.
You gotta see a show, we went to see Ka at the MGM Grand... fantastic and jaw dropping!!! See it!!! $130 each... for best seats in the house!
Eiffle tower is ace..
great views...
go to the car collection at the Imperial Palace... no more than $15 each. you can even buy the cars!!!!
The larger hotels do the FREE shows outside.. like the fountains at the Ballagio
inside you must have a look at the conservatory... garden/flower display that changes each season..
also this...
Sirens and pirates Show outside Treasure Island...
Freemont Experience... down town Vegas, next to Golden Nugget hotel.
have dinner up the Stratosphire...
Hoover Dam worth seeing while you can, before they stop people driving over it etc.
