Default Hull To Rotterdam Ferry

Hi Guys,

need a bit of advice, supposed to be going to Amsterdam next week, but the guy organising it has dropped a bollock and taken everyone's money and not booked anything As a result a couple of us have kicked him into touch and taken responsibly for organising the trip..him the accommodation and me the transportation.

We were going to fly, but booking flights less than a week in advanced means they are at a premium, so the ferry is the next alternative but i have got a question.
The coach transfer from Europoort to Amsterdam, what time does it leave the port? one would assume shortly after the boat arrives but i can not find any timetable for the coach on the P&O website.
I'm a firm believer that assumptions are the mother of all **** up's so i would like to confirm the coach timetable before booking the ferry only to find that when we arrive we are stuck in Europoort ferry terminal waiting for 5hours.

If anyone has got any knowledge please pass it on.

also do you just turn up at the ferry port long stay car or book in advanced? Again P&O website leads you to believe that you just turn up and pay on arrival.

Many thanks in advanced.

Chris

Best off ringing but when i've been we just turned up but as we only lived 20 mins outside of hull it wasn't much of a risk. When we booked the transfer by coach was included in the price, don't remember much of Dam itself but the ferry is the best bit of the weekend IMO. Pride of Rotterdam isn't that old a ferry and the casino is a good laugh, Usually you can get 2 for 1 offers on ferry tickets.

Hi guys,

thanks for the advice. unfortunately the coach transfer is no longer included in the price, its an optional extra, but i take it when you did get the coach transfer it was a case of the coach being there and waiting when the boat arrived and not a case of the coach doesn't leave until 5 hours after getting off the boat. It would be logical that its all in sync, just looking for confirmation before we book it tonight.

I will ring the car park Monday, not expecting that to be such an issue as waiting in a dockland for hours on end with 6 other blokes giving me grief

cheers

Chris
