Default virgin muppets 2

Hi All quick one about my problems with virgin media service i had joined with them for wireless broadband everything great then middle of december it starts playing up intermittent internet cutting off low signal strength.
They did the usual checks the modem is fine Mr Jones blah blah blah... the change the frequency channel now 4 times!!! which hasn't worked they have sent me a new cable that didn't work.5 calls later they finally are going to send out an engineer to look at it on Monday!
why oh why is there technical team all ******** asians who cant speak english and when asked a question cant fookin answer it and when your speaking to the person they have long bloody pauses and you think there not even there
.In the end she actually admitted defeat and said there is no more i can do to help you.
If the engineer can't sort it they wont get another penny from me.
Rant over.

Tell me about it, the muppets took a week to sort mine out. every time The goon reading off a script at the other end could not fix the problem I was myseriously cut off. It took a call to cancellations (who all speak perfect English) who finally got the ball rolling and diagnosed a line fault.

BT are even worse I have their call waiting music permanently burned onto my brain.

you have a tech booked for a wireless problem ?

Is the modem dropping connection? or is it just the wireless ? As the wireless is a local thing and has no relevance to the VM service.

A tech will not sort your wireless ..

Check your contract you might have to buy yourself out if you want to leave early, they probably have a section saying they don't guarantee the quality of service most mobile phone companies do for a start.

The only thing you might get is a credit for some of your monthly charges that is all i got.

I left once out of contract.

As you said technical cant even speak English and only follow the script so you cant even jump to the last page you have to go thru it from page 1 every time you call them!

believe me when i say they wouldnt get a penny from me they cant get around it with no gaurentee about coverage as they advised me that i was in a good coverage area.I had good service for the 1st month i had it so it must be possible.Im not sure what the issue is whether it is modem or the net gear box. I have a technician coming out cos they are useless on the phone in the technical department.
If they dont fix it i will cancel my direct debit and they can take me to court.Had a problem with 3 mobile when i had a dongle and they were the same useless
