How many points have you got ?
Got a letter awarding me six points this morning, 74 in a 50 on the M60, my own fault, but it was a pretty empty dry motorway and the limit drops for a corner than you can take at at least 74 mph, if I had been tring it may have been worse, I am hoping they didnt get me a few miles back !
How many do you lot have and how does it affect your driving and insurance ?

Lucky boy, iirc 75mph is the normally threshold for ban or at least a court appearance.
I've got 3 because my jabra went dead and I lifted the phone for literally 2sec to my ear to see if it had hung up, swine.

Got 3 points currently but could have lost my license.
Scoobs gearbox went caput on a sat morning. Got it home and bought a little runaround through my Uncle. Horrible death trap (car not Uncle) and made sure the insurance was legit on it straight away. Later on dropping mother off at works doo as a favour got pulled by the fuzz. Had apparently gone through a red light
They did usual checks like breathaliser etc and then told me I had no tax I genuinely thought the car had some form of tax and should have checked to be honest but assumed too much obviously
Police gave me £60 and 3 points and said they'd forget about the tax thing as long as I got it home and off the road till Monday. Had only been driving about 21 months which they knew so could have lost my licence there and then if I'd got 6 points for no road tax - phew!!! I drove very carefully until the following march until I'd had my licence 2 years

Hmm think my license should be clean again now, I'm almost positive that's my three years up now, what's the score with my insurance then do I still need to inform insurance companies about this? IIRC they take a bit longer to clear with insurance companies

11 points for a while, got it down to 0 then got caught doing 72 on a bypass on a clear sunny day overtaking a slow car in the wifes Golf, I even slowed back down to 60 as I had the little lass in the car, never been an accident on there in the last 20 years but they feel the need to police it for one day. 3 points for doing 72mph for maybe 10 seconds. Tw@ts
Never seen em there before and never seen em since.

Had 3 points in 2002 which increased my insurance premiums for the next 5 years
Cost me £60 fixed penalty, and proabably £350 total in increased premiums!

****-poor luck, Jacko. There but for the grace of Darwin go many of us. I've never had a point, but I'm not whiter-than-white. I think I've been extraordinarily fortunate.

It seems like a non event to me, 74 mph on a motorway, didnt feel fast at that point at all, suprprised I have never got any before but I am generally very careful, especially in 30 limits where the bulk of problems happen and points awarded.
I did spend a two week period last year sh1tting myself after a spirited blast across Anglessey when I was probably travelling faster than something from Valley and am still a bit nervous incase anything else appears from my drive back last Sunday.
