Bahrain.
Purely because of the likelihood of good hot weather and staying for the rest of the week for a holiday.
I couldn't imagine watching cars going round and round and round, soaked through with rain dripping down the back of my collar.
The weather would swing it for me.

Italy mate, go to Monza.
Weather is great, crowd friendly and no-one (apart from the brits) likes F1 more than the Tifosi.
Sitting in the sun on the Saturday during quali drinking red wine and eating pizza, nothing beats it.

How about Montreal? I've been a couple of times and always had a great time, usually sit in stand 22, and have seen a fair few battles coming out of the hairpin near there, plus saw Kubica have his very big off coming into the hairpin.
Of course I am somewhat local, so it's only a six hour drive for me, but I'd say it's worth it. I've never been to Silverstone but from friends who have gone and from what I've seen of it, for the average spectator is a rather large rip off.
Monaco I'd rather avoid, always have the impression it's an overpriced, overhyped place and a bit of a s**thole outside of the main area, somewhat akin to Rodeo Drive in Hollywood from what some have told me.
If it's Europe then I agree with others that Spa would probably be at the top of the list, with Monza coming a close second.

Have been to more than 50 GP's over the years and Monaco stands out like a sore thumb as being best for atmosphere and proximity to the cars. Save money, if you must and stay in Nice and commute by train .
Spa is stunning at some points of the circuit and I would THINK that the Singapore night race would be spectacular ( have not attended, but did live there for 4 years in the 80's.)
Was at the Abu Dhabi race in November. Great circuit and stunning infrastructure but totally devoid of spectator atmosphere.

I would go for the Nürburgring!
The track, though deemed "boring" by many drivers, is very good from a spectator viewpoint. There are plenty of big screens for the when the cars are somewhere else besides right in front of you, and the Germans do know who to organise stuff :-)
The REAL beauty is that the old track is usually open for tourist-driving. Meaning you pays your money (sommat like £12) per lap and get to try out a REAL race track.
The Northern Loop (Nordshleife) has not been deemed boring by any racer driver. Ever. In fact...F1 doesn't dare race it anymore. That's how I spell e-x-c-i-t-e-m-e-n-t ;-)
If you have an insterest in history, there are parts of the old Southern Loop still around, hiding in the trees amongst the new car parking areas.

Ignore anyone who says Valencia, Singapore, Abu Dhabi or Monaco.
If you want to see F1 cars racing the only circuits left in Europe are really Spa or Monza. Spa would be my choice unless you are a Ferrari fan and then Monza is the go.
However if you want the best all round GP experience as in 'event' then Melbourne is the answer. No one does sport like the Aussies!

Given the funds, I'd like to go to the all. Go the week before the race weekend, and stay a few days after, seeing the country / City etc.
I'm a Lottery win away from doing it. Fingers crossed.

Aye, for viewing the race its rubbish. Unless you manage to find someone who has booked a hotel room with a balcony in the right place (£££££)
But its a great place to get close up pics of the cars in the pit areas after the race whilst the teams pack away and when crashed/retired cars are recovered from various parts of the track.

Touring Cars is just slightly more upmarket stock car racing!
I would say the important thing is to find a circuit with a good view of the track and at an interesting spot.
I have not been to Monaco and although the atmosphere is excellent. my friens tell me that you only see the cars for a microsecond as they flash past.
Silverstone always used to be good, especially if you can get a stand seat, ot you have something to stand on. I always used to like Brands Hatch when they used to hold F1 there in turn with Silverstone.
I have seen F1 at the old Nurburgring, but don't know what the newer circuit is like for spectating.

BTRA (truck racing) - now there was another demolition derby in its heyday. They can still take hard knocks these days, but the trucks aren't anything like the ones from the 80's/90's where some could still tow a trailer Modern ones can't even tow a caravan.

Monaco for me ,been 4 times and never tire of it. And yes you can see the cars if you know where to sit. You will also be closer to the action at Monaco than at any other circuit as well.
