Buying clothes - annoyed.
I am just having a rant really.
I am taller than 'average' and I am hating the fact that I have to pay more £££'s for an extra few inches at the bottom of trousers or tops just because I have to buy them in the 'extra long length' or in the 'TALL' section.
The extra few inches around the waist on larger clothes is still the same price.
At least someone who is a little larger around the waist can lose some weight, but it's not like I can chop an inch of my legs off!
Is it just me who finds this a little unfair?

In fact if I were 2'' taller I wouldn't be buying clothes at any high street store.

As it is, skirts / dresses, are shorter on you as you're tall. Thus, every one will be trying to have a sneeky peek up your skirt / dress.
If you were 2" wider, they wouldn't bother. Your fat legs would block any knicker peeking.

I don't see why short people have to pay the same for clothes as giants! I require less material for **** sake! (shouts very loudly from his 5'6 frame!)

Now don't get me wrong, there will always be on occasion where my long legs will serve me well, as they have in the past
However, there are usually more occasions where it is a disadvantage.
Les - a tall bird with a stoop? Not a good look really.

Don't worry, us midgets get penalised in other ways . If I go to a gig that's standing only I can't see a thing because of all the tall people in front of me.
You would think though that the shops could give you the extra bit of fabric free, they can just use what they cut off the petite sizes.

I'm not particulary tall, being 5'7" but have the same problem with jeans. They all seem to be 31" when I get 33". I am of the short body and long legs type. My Dad said I was built like a spider

I'm not that bad, 5'4", so with heels I can avoid the sweaty armpits. It's more of a pain for things like supermarket shopping when I'm in trainers and can't reach the top shelf.

Same here, the one good thing is that I can paint the ceilings in my house without the aid of a ladder.

I also get troubled by Pikeys who can't read! They know what the picture is, but can't tell how to cook the stuff.

I remember in the days before the kids, I was in Topshop (when I had the money to spend on myself and not two kids!)
I asked for a different size of jeans, a 32 (waist) 36 (leg). The woman came back with a 36 - 32, I tried them on for a laugh and called her back in, all I needed was some braces, and some biker boots and I could have been a Beverly Hillbilly. They were a little short in the leg and a teeny bit big around the waist ..... and she still asked me if they were ok.
