Electrical Question re outdoor timer
I have outdoor lights that are connected into an outdoor style switch like this Masterseal 2 Gang Switch Enclosure.
One switch does the internal lights which are dioder leds so not pulling a big current & not on that often & the other one does the external lights which are just two lantern style lamps.
What i need to do is attach some sort of timer into the circuit so that i can set it to run dusk to dawn.
Any ideas ?
Maybe i am answering my own question but could i fit a photocell to the roof of the "shed" that i could wire into the circuit ?

Yes, Screwfix, and others, do a photocell that will do just that. Look for an external one.
Cost about £15, I keep saying I'll fit one to my lights at the back of the house, but keep forgetting to do it.
Standalone Night Sensor Photocell - Screwfix.com, Where the Trade Buys

Just had a look around about the outside of the house & these Standalone Photocell PIR - Screwfix.com, Where the Trade Buys are fitted to the house & the garage. They must have been added before i bought the place.
I'll stick with the one that alcazar has shown me though as that will be easy to install.
