I would imagine that if you ran over and killed a lawyer who had a family, that the claim could easily exceed £300k

Or maybe if the car smashed through a building into an office full of lawyers perhaps ?

Well it is only too easy to lose it on a patch of mud, doesn't matter who is driving it. The owner must have more cash than he could spend in the rest of his life I reckon, if he can buy another Pagani to use until the first one is mended, which he will then sell!

Obscene waste of money to my mind!

That's nothing compared to that idiot Gary Hart who fell asleep and crashed into a train, his insurance claim was for more than £50 million.

Killing someone isn't that expensive for an insurer, it's if they live and need care for the rest of their lives that make an expensive claim.

Sir Jackie claims to know nothing of the incident. He was not driving the car.

I also doubt it......

Ive had a claim run over £100k after a stripper high on coke caused me to write off a brand new Civic Type R a number of years back. She refused to take liability, I was forced to take her to court (which took 18 months)

The hire car I had for the 18 months was well over 25k....

Cost of my car was over 20k...

Solicitors costs, personal injury etc etc. I wouldnt like to have her insurance bill hahaha!

I understand what you mean, but its a matter of degree really. If that poor person was able to live with our lifestyle I doubt he would feel any kind of conscience about it.

My point was spending the thick end of half a million on a new road car because you have not got the patience to wait for the repair of the busted one especially when it is a car that you cannot even imagine using a fraction of its performance on the public roads seems like wasting money to the nth degree. If you were going to race it then there is a bit of justification perhap's but I don't think this bloke has that in mind. More like "Look at me" I would say.

Of course he is entitled to spend his money how he wishes, but think of the real good he could do with that!

Lol

It wasnt at the time Trout......

I was only TPFT (First and last time I didnt have FC) and as she was disputing the claim, I could of potentially been looking at the loss of my car, cost of repairs for her car, personal injury etc, around £28k so it was a very VERY stressful time for me.

She was on her way to work, looked rough as a badgers ringpiece (Thats what you get in Blackpool, Aint no Spearmint Rhino types here just chavs!) and was clearly off her ****.

Police took an age to arrive, and before they did, a L200 full of lads (strippers fella and mates) from fleetwood arrive which is full of hard nut jobs, and the scene could have been out of a wild west movie. Police arrived just in time to see the strippers dad (he'd arrived too at this point) grab me by the throat, and me throw him over the bonnet of his car lol.

My Type R had no front end, my nose was pouring blood from the Airbag, the road was blocked by the cars one on one side of the road, one on the other, so there was a lot of standing traffic.

It was carnage.

£528k? Hmmm don't think so. More like it starts with a "3"...
Whatever, it's a shame to see such an amazing car end up like this

In this country a single Zonda or even two, wouldn't even be noticed in the sea of benefits some wallow in.
