Yes i was hoping tennant might just pop in shame as i think he was one of the best dr whos for ages.

I haven't liked any of the new doctor who's at all but i decided to give it another go with their being a new doctor and I have to say i really enjoyed it and so its Sky+'d for next week!

Thought he was trying to copy Tennant too much, much prefered the darker Ecclestone although Tennant did a couple of good ones.
Assistant may come up trumps though always did like redheads.

Glad the Dr has returned in whatever form, its a fun show. As for assistants, surely nothing with beat Billy Piper in the running scenes.
And glad to see this is a smart doctor.

Just a note, I watched this on BBC HD and its one of the first TV programmes I've watched that really did make use of being in Dolby Digital 5.1, it was flapping great!
