![Question](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Can I cancel a Ryanair booking or am I stuffed?
Bought a couple of return tickets (Dublin to Gatwick) for a couple of weeks time but I think this ash business may go on. So might use other option of ferry and train but probably need to book in advance.
Was also charged £10 for using credit card![Mad](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/mad.gif)
Thanks, dl

Thanks for link Snazzers.
It doesn't apply to me but I wonder if they are doing that at present if they can't offer a flight to someone who decides to cancel because he has missed a business deadline?

Sadly this is how budget airlines profit, but their non cancellation policies etc. Apparently they have handled the whole volcano matter badly too. So would not expect too much compassion from them. If however they are unable to provide a flight due to service interruptions there might be grounds for a refund. But that would be based on the day the flight actually cant fly, and not before.

I can confirm that having had a flight cancelled by Ryanair this weekend just gone. Full refund for both tickets. However you won't get this unless the flight you are taking is actually cancelled - otherwise as already noted, flights are transferable but no refunds.
