I don't have a driveway and want to clean my car but doing it outside house means A: I have to talk to my neighbours and B: I will nearly get run over at least twice and C: the local Corsa Crew will no doubt rev past my house thinking they are cool as they always do when i clean my car.
There is a new build of appartments right out the back of my house and they have a communial parking bay thing that isn't really being used as only 2 appartments are being rented out at the moment
Now my thinking is I could easily swing the garden hose over there wash, polish and wax my car in peace but if you were living in one of those appartments would you take offense to this?
Part of thinks i should ask the 2 appartment dwellers if they mind, the other part of me thinks **** 'EM! as they have restricted the access to the rear and side of my house meaning i can't wash my car off the road anymore.

I wouldnt worry about it, as long as you leave it clean which I'm sure you and the hose will, I dont see cause for concern.
At worst, if they take umbridge, you will get a letter from the management company asking you to refrain.
Saying that, it wouldnt hurt to be polite and ask first, seeing as you are only going to be there for an hour or so.

I think Jamz3k is right, but I would not offer to clean their cars though!
As long as you leave it clean they shouldn't mind really. Certainly easier to ask first then get them annoyed.
