Thumbs up My Bacon Sarnie

Is probably bigger than yours

The missus has went out for the evening so i have to sort my own food out

I was given a rather large stottie the other day and i did not quite know what to do with it

"would make a cracking bacon sarnie"

Need a large pack of bacon.

Cutting it open required some advanced 'breadmanship' skillz

Knife is toooooo small

Lift and tuck

Done

How to apply the spread?

Hmm which sauce, might just bung em all on.

7 rashers of bacon, never touched the sides.

Only 13 rashers of bacon in the pack, so had to open another

Killer bacon sarnie of death - DONE!

Used to get something similar for Friday tea-break when I worked at Sealand - same size, but add 2 eggs, 2 sausages, couple of slices of black pudding, grilled tomato and some beans

Used to soak up the Thursday night excess a treat

Same size bun, probably only half a dozen rashers of bacon - should have been more specific

If only the bacon had been proper dry-cured rolled smoked bacon. My butcher slices it from a roll like this...

....and the taste over that soaking wet over salted crap you get vacuum packed in supermarkets is unbelievable. Just the smell of it in the fridge has me salivating, but when it's being cooked the whole house ends up smelling of it too. The jealousy in the missuses eyes as she suffers her muesli whilst I took in to a full English is very enjoyable too

Your reflection in the shiny spoon - do you usually make butties wearing an ice hockey mask; or were you away to kill some students right afterwards?

its not the size of the sarnie in the fight , its the size of the heart in the man in eating the sarnie

Thumbs up

A superb job and great write-up.

I myself will be indulging in a fry-up tomorrow but not on that scale.
2 poached eggs, 4 rashers of fried bacon, grilled tomato's, hash browns x 2 fried bread x 2 and baked beans anf fried mushrooms (cooked in with the bacon and a little butter)

Oh and washed down with an xxl cup of strong monkey.

BreaKfast of champions - if not potential heart attack victims!

Morning campers, guess what i am having for breakfast

Missus came home drunk last night and had a go at the monster, but we still have far to much left, so a third of it is coming into work with me today

I never fry my bacon, i prefer it grilled so it goes a bit crispy tbh.
The buttering skillz were crap, but i figured it was to much bread to do with a knife, so i used the huge spoon, my 'breadmanship' skillz are second to none, but my 'largespoonmanship' skillz are sadly lacking
