Oh how dissapointed you will be with this post compared to the title ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Where I am staying in Atlanta, there is a shopping complex over the road, in fact the area is just shops really, but I remembered the huge radio tower from last time, seemed weird having it there, have become kind of fascianted with it, it is f*cking enourmous, apparently 662 ft high just plonked in the middle of the car park tethered by cables, managed to find a site wit some pictures, amazing how spindly it is, especially the base.
Take a look and perhaps nominate me for strangest post of the year, well I want to bring you some stuff that isnt Televisions, Watches, The Election, Petrol Prices etc, so be grateful !

Thats an amazing tower J4CKO, its the sort of thing we radio hams might dream about!
I would have found the tour of the radio station fascinating too, very interesting to me how all the radio transmitting side works.
I have only ever spent an hour in the Atlanta airport waiting for the 'plane to be refuelled.

I know a bloke in New Zealand who has got a 3 kilometre long horizontal wire aerial across a valley. He puts out the best radio signal of any of the other hams over there.
