Watching the whole thing unfold on Sky News was gross! To see how someone of that position manipulates peoples, and hearing how happy he was that she was 13 etc, makes me feel sick!

It made me feel ill and very annoyed to see what that man was up to. Can't praise the Sky setup enough for catching him out and that at least will make things a bit safer with him out of circulation.

He knew perfectly well what he was doing and how disgusting it was and deserves a very heavy sentence for it.

Hi Chip,

Like a lot of these sicko's they put themselves in a position of trust, often working with kids. The trick is not to tar all with the same brush.

I am retraining as a swimming instructor and coach, i am often in a position where actually touching a child is required to stop them colliding, or if they are in difficulty, to correct errors etc. I think very carefully each and every time i do this and am glad the kids parents are close by and watching what is going on and that i am supervised. unless life threatening i will only touch their heads, arms or lower legs if at all possible.

I had to have an advanced CRB check which i think is a good idea and work alongside other instructors usually with groups of up to 6 kids or adults - i am still training and under one brilliant female instructor
