I've said it for a while now. We need a Hitler type figure to get rid of all the immigrants.

Though deporting would seen as a better alternative than Gassing.

And it took a strong Tory government with Churchill at the helm as pm to beat him!

I think Brown lost the election on the day he insulted that pensioner and called her a bigot for just asking straight forward questions, Lim Dims where never really in with a shout, that just leaves Dave as the best of a bad bunch then

Paul Habgood I think you hit the nail on the head, I agree completely that Brown's approach to the 'biggoted' woman cost him big time.
After all, since many many voters agreed with her about the immigrants he is insulting them as well. I would imagine many heavy duty Labour voters will just refuse to vote, which will give a big boost to the Torys/Libs.
Servers him right, worst PM we've ever had, and despite his protestations he was a pretty poor chancellor as well, he was on the crest of a wave from an economy point of view, and as soon as it peaked and started to fall he fell apart.
He's a bully and a nasty piece of work, I hope he gets the worst Labour vote in years.

I don't trust UKIP.............

I didn't vote for them, but my god I was close to ticking BNP. Some of the main issues/points I will post below, shame they let themselves down on a few too many;

# Halt all immigration
# Deport criminal and illegal immigrants
# Re-introduce corporal and capital punishment
# Withdraw from the EU
# Raise the inheritance tax threshold to £1 million
# Raise the personal non-taxable allowance to £12,500
# Require that those who have been out of work for over 18 months participate in local work schemes in return for taxpayer-funded benefits
#Bar "foreigners who have not paid into the system" from access to benefits, social housing, state education and pensions
#Ban the burka, "non-stunned ritual slaughter" of animals and the building of further mosques
# Re-introduce corporal punishment for "vicious criminality and assault"
# Introduce capital punishment for large-scale, hard drug dealers, child murderers, multiple murderers, murderers of policemen on duty and terrorists in cases where guilt is proven beyond dispute (e.g. using DNA evidence)
# Allow householders to defend themselves and their property using "whatever means they deem necessary"
#Bar foreigners from using the NHS
#Make joint custody of children the norm in divorce cases.
# Reject the "theory" of climate change as a "hoax"
# Oppose carbon taxes
# Block land-based wind turbines
# Ensure that pensions are eligible only to "Britons" and "those who have fully paid into the system"
# Ensure that elderly people do not have to sell their homes to pay for care
#Make all benefits and social housing only available to British citizens
# Decrease tax on fuel
# Raise motorway speed limits to 90mph
#Charge foreign trucks for the right to use Britain’s road network
# End the "unhealthy, energy intensive and cruel" factory farming of livestock
# Nationalise the telecoms infrastructure to enable the creation of a not-for-profit 100Mbps broadband service across the country
#Outlaw "non-stunned ritual slaughter" of animals
# Abolish the "Human Rights Act"
# Abolish restrictions on free speech, including bans on incitement to racial and religious hatred
# Scrap ID cards
# Ensure that DNA from innocent people is not kept on record
#Ban state funding, trades union and corporate funding of political parties.

A lot of these just 'make sense' to me

Has anyone else spotted the similarities between the BNP and the Christian Party? I expected them to be diametrically opposed, but there are some odd similarities... for example, if the BBC's summary is accurate, both pledge to raise the motorway speed limit to 90mph, raise the personal tax free allowance to around £12k, and to withdraw UK troops from Afghanistan.

Believe it or not it's the Christian Party which would also "Repeal race equality laws, sexual orientation equality laws, gender equality laws and religious equality laws" - as if the doctrine that one should "love thy neighbour" suddenly no longer applies.

Both parties would also support maintaining an independent nuclear deterrent - though the bible I studied at school didn't mention anything about dropping atomic weapons on thy enemies. Technology issues aside, I'm sure it would have been frowned on somewhere.

Mmmm, get your facts straight boyo! It was a Conservative government that followed a policy of appeasment that allowed Hitler to wreak the havoc that he did. Churchill was not the PM of a Conservative govt that defeated him either, he was PM of a coalition govt.

When the country went to the polls in 1945, the Conservatives were soundly beaten by Labour!

Fail!!!!

"Abolish restrictions on free speech, including bans on incitement to racial and religious hatred" Therein lies the problem, the thin end of the wedge!

Like you say though, alot of that stuff (though perhaps naively) is popular to a lot of 'normal' people.

That's how Hitler started though..........

Aye I know, the scary one;

#Offer legal immigrants and their descendants financial incentives to return voluntarily to their countries of origin.

Reads, "here's a hundred quid, you got 28 days to get out the country or we will deport/lock you up and seize all your assets"

The BNP have some very good 'ideas' (but some fkin rediculous ones too, all non-indigenous people to 'go home' or back to where their parents came from?).

All people have varying degrees of xenephobia (often confused with racism), everyone does, it's a natural sense of protection to keep outsiders out. The problem is, if a party like BNP become government, it would gradually morph into something resembling the **** party.

always a good speaker - and worth reproducing in the interests of balance Kinnock's speech in 1983

If Margaret Thatcher is re-elected as prime minister on Thursday, I warn you.

I warn you that you will have pain–when healing and relief depend upon payment.

I warn you that you will have ignorance–when talents are untended and wits are wasted, when learning is a privilege and not a right.

I warn you that you will have poverty–when pensions slip and benefits are whittled away by a government that won’t pay in an economy that can’t pay.

I warn you that you will be cold–when fuel charges are used as a tax system that the rich don’t notice and the poor can’t afford.

I warn you that you must not expect work–when many cannot spend, more will not be able to earn. When they don’t earn, they don’t spend. When they don’t spend, work dies.

I warn you not to go into the streets alone after dark or into the streets in large crowds of protest in the light.

I warn you that you will be quiet–when the curfew of fear and the gibbet of unemployment make you obedient.

I warn you that you will have defence of a sort–with a risk and at a price that passes all understanding.

I warn you that you will be home-bound–when fares and transport bills kill leisure and lock you up.

I warn you that you will borrow less–when credit, loans, mortgages and easy payments are refused to people on your melting income.

If Margaret Thatcher wins on Thursday–

- I warn you not to be ordinary

- I warn you not to be young

- I warn you not to fall ill

- I warn you not to get old.

Hmm, substitute Anthony Blair for Margaret Thatcher, and 1997 for 1983, and you arrive at where we are today

So you admit he was a leader of a socialist party then? So you agree with me. You present no evidence to say he wasnt!
