Do not forget to use a glass drill bit if you are planning to drill it, strips of masking tape where the holes are to be to give it a start/something to bite on.
I use liquid nails to mount a 4'6" cheval mirror in our hall, it is backed with a sheet of painted schaped mdf which it was attached to first.
You may well aready know all this but just in case
