Good luck David Cameron.
I think you're going to need it.
Heard that Ken Clarke might get the Chancellors job, with Vince Cable his deputy, and Gorgeous George shuffled off to business. That would be a good start IMHO.

Heard that Smeggy would be deputy PM. As for luck, they are going to need it in sorting out Flash's mess. First thing to do. Get some forensic accountants in from the IMF on day 1 to go through the books and ensure that Brown/Labour get blamed for all the sh&t to start with.
Public sector: no redundancies, just don't replace jobs where people resign UNLESS they are front-line jobs, such as nurses, teachers, etc. Neatly side-steps any, legitimate, Labour/Union 'nasty Tory' line. I believe I saw that the annual churn in the public sector is about 12% so that should show savings very quickly.

He has gone now so let's look to sorting the problems out (some of which were his making and others which were not - yes I know it is hard for you to believe).

One thing Cameron needs to do is find out exactly what the state of the nations finances are, not what Labour say they are, and make that known. If certain things are not Labour's fault then this will show up in any deep dive into the accounts. But he has to start with a clean slate. Only then can he start to sort it out.

Actually, one (other) good thing to come from Gordon's leaving is that Hattie is now acting leader .... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politi...10/8676333.stm

Unfortunately Labour, aided and abetted by the unions (remember how they were going to 'raise hell' for an incoming Tory government?), will now start finger pointing, from day 1 in opposition about how things are not their fault, they're in opposition, it's all the fault of those nasty Tories and LibDems. They WILL apportion blame starting from tomorrow!

I want the Tories to be cost cutters - natural wastage will take too long to get rid of the huge and wasteful excesses of the labour party. It's a shame the Tories always inherit a bust economy, then get blamed for the tough measures they have to take to sort it. It's like turnaround experts coming into a business where the Board have been fired and it's trying to avoid administration. I just hope they get a good length of time (ie several full parliaments) to properly do the job.

Roll on £1m inheritence.
UK to keep the Pound
Take powers back from Brussels Labour gave away.
(Shame Tories weren't in power before darling agreed to give £20b to help out Euro countries, even though we're not in the Euro)
Cap immigrant numbers.
Getting lazy scum off benefits, by stopping money if they refuse work.
Not having to sell your house to pay for residential care.

On a serious note..
Good luck to our new PM. I hope he does what he says he's going to do and rule from the centre
It's a shame that some of the people on here cannot show the same good grace that he did earlier
