Default Good luck David Cameron.

I think you're going to need it.

Heard that Ken Clarke might get the Chancellors job, with Vince Cable his deputy, and Gorgeous George shuffled off to business. That would be a good start IMHO.

Yes let's apportion blame rather than sort it out. FFS will you give the anti Brown stuff a break!!!

He has gone now so let's look to sorting the problems out (some of which were his making and others which were not - yes I know it is hard for you to believe).

They WILL apportion blame starting from tomorrow!

One thing Cameron needs to do is find out exactly what the state of the nations finances are, not what Labour say they are, and make that known. If certain things are not Labour's fault then this will show up in any deep dive into the accounts. But he has to start with a clean slate. Only then can he start to sort it out.

Dave
The same civil servants who 'do the books' today under Labour will do them tomorrow under whatever half baked governemnt we are going to have. This whole concept of things not being what they say they are is nonsense. The 'books' will tell the true story - the spin is how much story to tell.

I want the Tories to be cost cutters - natural wastage will take too long to get rid of the huge and wasteful excesses of the labour party. It's a shame the Tories always inherit a bust economy, then get blamed for the tough measures they have to take to sort it. It's like turnaround experts coming into a business where the Board have been fired and it's trying to avoid administration. I just hope they get a good length of time (ie several full parliaments) to properly do the job.

Roll on £1m inheritence.

UK to keep the Pound

Take powers back from Brussels Labour gave away.
(Shame Tories weren't in power before darling agreed to give £20b to help out Euro countries, even though we're not in the Euro)

Cap immigrant numbers.

Getting lazy scum off benefits, by stopping money if they refuse work.

Not having to sell your house to pay for residential care.

On a serious note..

Good luck to our new PM. I hope he does what he says he's going to do and rule from the centre

It's a shame that some of the people on here cannot show the same good grace that he did earlier
