Another what phone thread...
Yes another one, sorry, but wanted some opinions having looked extensively trying to find one for the wife.
It needs to be a PAYG on o2 (not an option to buy on different network and then unlock) as it is going to be used with an o2 simplicity sim card.
It needs to be max of £150 and be a touch screen with 3g and wi-fi.
The 2 it's been wittled down to are both Samsungs, the Monte and the Jet Ultra (S8000).
The Jet is the better phone by far in terms of specs but the Mrs had looked at the Monte in the shops today and liked it. She is going to look at the Jet tomorrow.
Any other options/makes other than the Samsungs in this price bracket with equal or better specs as I can't seem to find any?
Forgot to add the other one found was the Nokia 5800 but she didn't like that one so ruled out.

I'd highly recommend the Jet. It is a very quick phone to use. Very nice as well.
I haven't got too much experience with the Monte but i know it isn't too much different.
If shes going to play with both of them she will know which one she likes best. Just read reviews for potential or common faults on either as this may help.
If it helps, the store i work for has sold plenty of Jet's and a few Monte's, and we have had absolutely none back.
I don't think there is any alternative Samsung phone apart from perhaps the Tocco Ultra, it is both touch screen and has a slide out keypad, Very nice but again the Jet is what i would recommend.
I don't know if o2 do it, but the LG GT505 has the same specs and again i do like that phone, but the Jet has a faster processor.
