The Lib-Dems don't stand any chance of being in any sort of power by themselves. Clegg is Deputy PM, and no doubt Cable will become Business secretary. They're hardly going to want out, so will just go along with what the Tories say.
who the hell cares, nothing any of you lot can do about it and all these political posts are boring as hell
Its your life and your future which depend on all this boring politics. If you can't be bothered to take an interest, you certainly won't be in a position to complain about anything!

He has a point though Les.
I think he mentioned political posts/threads, not politics in general.
Also we dont have that much say over policies as most of it is done behind the scenes

i take no intrest - all parties are as bad as each other. An example is fuel tax..this ain't gna go down ever..just up like all the other taxes..
I guess we can wait to see what happens now that the toris are in power..

Agreed. 10 million people watched tv last night on the handover. Some people care, in fact i find it all rather interesting.
The only thing that the two parties can agree on is that they want to be in power. Everything else - Europe, tax, immigration, the CJS, business, the lot - they have completely opposite views. Every vote will be a quid pro quo: "we'll support you over immigration if you support us over taxes" or whatever. I give it six months.
We'll I reckon in 6 months cracks will be starting to show.
However I'm sure Clegg has some sort of tangible asset to prevent getting shafted by Cameron.
It looked like they were looking forward to shafting each other on the Downing street lawn press conference yesterday... They looked like pointy toed lovers. All tee hee and ****.

The way your mind seems to work, you must live in a state of constant physical excitement.
You don't have any idea what sort of pleasure I enjoy on my travels through life, and I am not going to tell you, so you will have to use your imagination!
