I want to hire an entertainer for my sons birthday party who will bring a monkey for the kids to see.
I've searched google and cannot find anything, does anyone know how I might go about this?
The Mrs wants a clown, but i'm thinking a Monkey will be much more impressive

Sorry not liking the sound of this
Why don't you look into someone who shows insects and spiders and stuff like that, seems less cruel to me, although there are probably some that would disagree, but at least they are not trained to do stuff and their freedom does not seemed to be so compromised and let's face it boys love that sort of thing
Waits to be shot down in flames!!!

their is a pet shop in leeds that has two monkeys that live their, they are not for sale but i always have a look at them when i pop in
might be worth asking in there
i'm not sure of the name of it but if you drop me a pm i can tell you exactly were it is
oh they are cupaccin monkeys (think thats how you spell it)
my only concern is if a monkey would be happy with loads of kids around it, they do have a habbit of being a bit snappy and kids tend to get over excited
good idea but might be worth exploring other animals as well if you get no luck with the monkey idea

Thanks for the replies, i've looked into the reptile ones who bring snakes and spiders but I think a bunch of 4 year old would be a bit wary.
May have to consider something else
