Default David Milliband on TV

Looking very impressive and making a clever joke about Jarrow!

As a speaker you can see clearly he is a Blair acolyte, his phrasing, tempo and accentuation is very similar to Blair.

Incredible to see that they did not make him leader before the election - CleggCam would have had more of a run for their money!

I have to say I agree on all counts.
Dont thing Ed I and Ed II stand a chance.
Already looking forward to the next election, the other parties could be in trouble as he commands respect and trust.
Will have to listen closer to his pledges and ideas.

Milliband commands respect and trust?

Respect? The teachers referred to him as "That Year 8 in a suit" when he was in Education. He still has spectacular wingnut ears and looks like a cartoon monkey.

Trust? An ex-Lying Labour minister under both Bliar and Sh*t Brown? Do me a favour

Do we need another Blair we have two at present (clegg/cameron) adding Milliband you would have three, all children of Oxford education no less.

Milliband senior no thanks

Milliband junior, not leader material ol boy

Whats left, I thought Johnstone, but he must have some sense seeing what the backroom Labourettes did to Brown and said no thanks

Ball is not what will gain Labour the next election.

So I await the new yet to be seen leader emerge and gain the whole party trust.

They just did a focus group on Newsnight there were two key questions were who should be Labour leader and who would you have voted for it that person was leader at the time of the General Election.

David M was unanimously selected to be Labour leader (they showed videos of all the candidates in action).

The group (swing voters who this time voted Conservative, Liberal and Labour) all said they would have voted Labour had he been leader.

Intriguing!

For me Ed M is the best o a bad bunch, Dave M is a tad odd, and ***** is a complete ............ (I'll let you all fill in the blanks). If Labour go for ***** then they deserve all they get.

The bit I saw at lunchtime I thought he seemed particularly un-inspiring, more of an Osborne than a Cameron but I suppose in comparison to Gordon anyone would look good

He is tainted by his former associations, he was quite happy to go along with all the lies and he is scraping the barrel in an attempt to align himself with Old Labour! He will never achieve that, they were at least honourable people. NL was a disaster for this country and we will be lucky should we recover from it.

He looks a bit foreign if you ask me.

For that reason alone he can't be trusted!

David Milliband will have to explain in 6 months time why he went along with all the ridiculous spending plans of the outgoing government ie the scorched earth policy.

Lets see how he fares then

There is something really shifty about David Miliband, I wouldnt trust him at all. I dont think he'd make a good leader.
As mentioned, there's deffo a bit of Blair about him.

Now Andy Burham has added himself. A bit different from the twins/***** he went to Cambridge. The other two not mentioned are Lefties and just added to make it look democratic and be politically correct.

I wonder if Alan Johnston is waiting for a shove to declare himself, he looks my fav candidate but is not showing interest though is starting to show himself on TV. Maybe a prelude. As far as I know not educated at Uni but raised himself from a Postie to Union Sec. A real change for Labour but it seems the NL are still got a good grip on things.

Witness Mandelson walking away, makes a change from being sacked. He maybe does not like what is coming what ever it is.

Admitting you have a problem is the first step along the road to recovery, well done and keep it up!

Apparently i bark and the moon or laugh at the sun or something similar according to Trout, i have stopped looking upwards towards the sky and am already feeling much, much better.

He's a bit like John F Kennedy. Good looking, and comes accross well on tv. Personally i was always a Teddy Roosevelt fan.

Have any of the labour leadership candidates ever had a proper job? ie I fail to see (as evidenced by their track record) how they can be trusted to make commercial decisions for the good of our country.
