Got the DVD of this sometime back, the Commentary by the late great John Hughes makes reference to the actors of Ferris's parents actually fell in love and got married after this film....

Watch Breakfast Club instead, a much better film. Also Wargames another classic slice of movie goodness.

I suppose I watched it in the hope that she was off the drugs and being a better mother. Yes I feel sorry for her, but I feel si sorry for those children.
