Came across an age-old market trader trick this morning. I thought this had died out with the advent of the supermarket, but no, there it was again![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Asked for a couple of pounds of peas, which were prominently displayed on the front of the stall and looked nice. The lass started shovelling them out of a box behind her, out of site. I waited until she had filled it, took it from her and opned it to compare it with the ones on display. The ones in the bag were thinner and older looking. I asked her to take those in the bag back and swap them for some off the display, to which she refused.
I walked away.
I really thought this sort of cheating had gone out with supermarkets allowing you to pick your own choice of produce off the shelf.
