Rhossili yesterday. My friend Blaise trusts me enough to shoot a nice sequence of me going nose down underneath him. Getting the shot involved me flying at him at around his level, hence the trust.

If you fly kites then it's just a really big one with more lines and a fancy harness. It all gets a bit silly when you throw it around though.

If you'd like lessons, a trial day or tandem flight give me a shout, I have friends home and abroad that can help.

I spent hours one afternoon watching a swarm of these things at Castelton in the peak district, how they didn't slam into each other was something of a miracle, there were around 30 in a very small area of sky.

I've taken off from the beach there in 20'ish mph, but I'm a bit silly. I've never seen any wind or kite surfers on that beach, loads of plain old surfers, not sure why, maybe there's somewhere better nearby.

Yep jus checked we windsurfed there on a weekend excursion from Brighton and walked across the causeway to the peninsula at low tide ..

Usually you can tell its a lost cause , for windsurfing, when the paragliders are about
