Dont buy a watch off fleabay you will probably end up with a fake
get into your local decent jewellers suited & booted & get your haggling hat on you should be able to get a quartz Omega seamaster for a grand. If you can stretch to it go for an auto
If your near any of the mcarthur glen outlet villages they usually have a TAG shop offering masisve discounts. One of the watches that i won had a rrp of £2000 & they had it for sale in the outlet for £1300 just shows you the mark up.

Why does everyone go Tag and Omega, at their price there are much nicer pieces, for example:
Ball Storm Chaser

Breitling Superocean II

Anyway, we've gone up in price now, so back to the Hamilton

Yes, but it's usually in my pocket and a faff to get out. A simple turn of the wrist will tell me almost instantly, and I can also then appreciate the fine craftsmanship and engineering.

How much does the average iPhone cost ? And a phone is never really paid for, just an endless money pit. I hate mobile phones
I wish I could get by without one TBH

If you buy from one of the signet stores, I can get you a 30% discount off cost (Ernest Jones/Leslie Davies/H Samuels)
£5000 watch for £3500
£2000 watch for £1400
£1000 watch for £700
etc etc
I do of course charge a small 5% fee for my time, effort and contact, but still a saving of 25% off cost. Done it for quite a few scoobynetters already

I've owned a Breitling Airwolf for 3 years now and paid just under £1600 for it in Dubai, it's RRP in this country is over £3200. I could sell it and make a profit as I'm after a Limited Edition Emergency Orbiter. Very nice!!!
Recommend Breitling over any other watches all day long.

Personally I would buy a nice cheap watch and bank the rest of the cash
I have a few expensive watches and I have to admit they are a waste of cash. The only people who know you are wearing a quality watch will be yourself as most will just think a good watch is a copy. Waste a grand or more on a watch if you want but after you spend it you will realise its a waste
My Rolex has cost a fortune in the years I have owned it due to servicing and insurance and I very rarely wear my other watches due to watch snobery
