The football family, although dysfunctional at the best of times, will pull together at times of trouble and heartbreak. One such occasion has passed today, when Adam Stansfield, Exeter City forward, died of cancer aged 31. He leaves behind a young family, and as is the measure of the lowly football supporter, Nick Bryant, an Exeter fan, is going to run from Exeter to Yeovil in time for the fixture between the teams(two of Adams clubs) to raise money for Cancer Research. I think Adams family, Exeter City, and football fans as a whole would applaud Nick, and as such, he has opened a just giving page to raise money for the charity.
I implore you to give whatever you can, this is a bit of a gruelling run, and hopefully can save some other young family having to bury a loved one before their time. The link is below.
