Exclamation Friday the 13th August - Be careful you *******

Well it's here again the most unluckiest of combinations - a Friday and the 13th day of the month..... I would suggest that Snazy stays in bed all day today

How do you propose to mitigate that risk then? or have you applied a technical contingency to recover should the risk impact your ability to have a relaxing afternoon?

Wonder where this business of using a word like "impact" in this context came from when the correct English word is "affect"

Very similar to using the word "issue" when the original English word is "problem"

Who starts all this sort of thing anyway?

I can never understand the idea of Consultants, all they do is stand around and tell you what you're doing wrong and what you should be doing instead, and then they charge you extortionate amounts of money for it, my missus doe's all that to me for free!

I don't know many that tell you anything, most of them facilitate a discussion so you can work it out for yourself - pays good money though hence my MSc

For some reason, when I got up this morning I thought that today would not be a typical Friday the 13th and I was right ..... after being jobless for a few months I've been given a job starting Tuesday

Strange how things work !! and I guess for me Friday 13th is lucky - it's all about your state of mind lol

I've been in bed all day after taking the **** out of a friend who warned me about today. He plans to do nothing at all on a Friday as he has previously had loads of bad luck, he was even unwilling to go out tonight.

So how did he laugh when he called me tonight to find out that I woke up this morning in agony after somehow managing to pull several muscles in my back

My Friday the 13th wasn't too bad as I got a cheque for £387 through the post that I wasn't expecting.

That will buy me a new pair of Ski's I've had my eye on

Thanks for all that, I did suspect it was down to some smartarse somewhere trying to impress us all.

I just don't like seeing the language corrupted for no good reason.

Friday 13th struck; the fountain pump shorting out at night, tripping the RCD* for all the electrical sockets in the house.

No TV or internet for me. Then I was awoken at some ungodly hour when the alarm went off because the backup battery had drained down

*makes note to self to give the electrican who wired it a good thump, why is the fountain spur, sockets and alarm on the same f**king RCD, had the dimwitted f***er ever heard of a RCBO and 17th ed regs regarding nuisance tripping?

I managed to trap my little finger while shutting a pair of aluminium step ladders - luckily not enough to prevent me from typing though
