i like the Michel Thomas language series, but i'm not sure if he does french.

thinking about it, proper/technical foreign language for a job wouldn't be covered.

you'd better find a french tutor lol

I find "Bonjour M. Connard, vous etes un poin rouge enorme" normally breaks the ice in this sort of interview situation.

No course or intensive tuition is going to help you 'wing' it. You need to be able to THINK like a frog as well as speak like a frog, they will know u are not fluent from a mile off

Just give a gallic shrug of the shoulders to any question you don't understand. You should fly through

Get a froggie to stand in for you at the interview.

Dozy frogs wouldn't realise it wasn't you when you pitch up having secured the job

If only I could speak fluent spanish I'd go for the job and then at the appropriate point launch into "The French are a buch of cheese eating surrender monkeys - wtf would I want to work with them" in Spanish

I'm guessing they will find out quite early on in the interview, being it will be conducted 'au francais' unless you have 6 months i do doubt you will be fluent in time.

6 months isn't long enough either, I lived there for 3 yrs in my youth with a young brain which is perfect for soaking up a new language. I could get by and have a conversation with a frog yes, but I was nowhere near fluent.
