Wonder if he called the police at the time? That would have been a good defence and back up his story about feeling threatened.

Although , he would likely then have been discriminating against the Roma culture.

It does seem strange to close the pub because people were riding into it, yet take no action against those who were riding against the flow of traffic. Hmm...
