Default Fecking Apple

How good is their customer service I have an ipod touch which isn't holding its charge so I went into the Apple store today to see what they could do. At the entrance there was a girl standing with an ipad who told me I had to make an appointment before some could look at my ipod at the Genius bar lol About 15 minutes later I had my apponitment and they told me I needed a new ipod and I had to sign a form and then they gave me a brand spanking new 32gig ipod Apple must be making a mint as there was that many staff in the shop they could huddle in a group and talk and there would still be enough staff to serve everyone else

My laptop is too slow, being 11 years old. Do you think they would recommend a new one and give me it FOC ?

That's because they are made in some Chinese sweatshop and cost 50p a unit to produce.

More than a single minute Les, but always happy to read a thread about great customer service, it's something I've experienced many times myself in the Apple store and one of the reasons I find their products so easy to recommend.

And it's not just returns, the ability to book a training session for free or just some time with a Genius is priceless and for the industry "Game Changing". More and more are opening all the time, having one close by is a treat.

Sounds like going to see a priest where he tells you it is OK to **** a fit bird as long as you don't use a johnny?

Talking of Apple, my iPhone once froze. I didn't bother driving to Apple shop. I went to the Carphone Warehouse instead, where I purchased my contract from. The geek child at the counter did something-something to my phone, and fixed it in 2 minutes! Long live Carphone Warehouse

Yes of course, and you must know why I could not resist it.
