The golden rule for the Premiership is, no matter how amazing you think your team performed in the 1st Division Championship, be under no illusions when you enter the Premiership.
I really hope Man City do well next season, but I hope the fans don't get carried away with their expectations, because you may have overlooked how many goals you conceded this year and you WILL get punished for that with the big boys.
And I've LOVE to see Keegan put one over on Alex Ferguson again, heh!

Dazv - erm when was the last time he put one over us? Or are you referring to the 95 season when he threw his toys out the pram on Sky and said "I would love it if we beat them". And then promptly gave away a 12 point lead and lost the title AGAIN - ROFLMAO!

Hey Kippax
Everything is fine and Funkii
Im glad you will take 3 pts off the scum , u do refer to Liverpool , Good to have you back up with the big boyz and I must admit its good to have KK back as well, if only for the 5 goals we'll knock past your lot
Will you be in the gasworks arena by the start of next season??, what are they going to call it??
No doubt the banter will flow good and proper next season and hopefully the powers that be will have crumbled and given us our Football Forum.
Cheers
Dave

rik1471,
City could go back down.....City could finish mid table.....City could win the FA cup.....City could get into europe.....Keegan could go.....Fergie could come in.....that's the attraction mate.
New 47,000 seater stadium, exciting football, passionate manager.........still the only football team to come from Manchester.
FM its called the City of Manchester Stadium.

what a bizarre thing to say "the only club from Manchester"
Maine Road (Moss Side, M14) is 2.8 miles from Market St in the city centre
Old Trafford (M16) is 3.0 miles away from Market St
Amusingly the new stadium on Alan Turing Way will be 3.0 miles away from Market Street as well.
Great to see City back in the premiership - stop the irrational hatred of success up the road!

What does it matter where the football ground is located?
Saying "the only team from Manchester2 doesn't make City a better team, or allow them to play better??
At the end of the day Utd are and always will be better than City, with bigger, better fanbase, better players and more silverware.
It's such a shame that the only thing City fans can resort to is "the only team from Manchester" like it means a big deal.
Football is football, not the location of a ground.
City fans will always be jealous without admitting it. It's such a shame.
