Maplins are selling these 3 sat navs very cheaply.

I will be an occasional user so the price is tempting

Anyone have any experience using any of them?

A different cheap one to look out for is the Navman S30. It's a fairly decent and cheap one to start with, but with a bit of playing around you can also put TomTom on it if you wanted.

tom toms and navmans will do what the piccolo does (and be a satnav), just not the free database subscription bit so might be worth it for that, various places sell that sort of info eg

which can be loaded onto lots of satnavs
some people split the cost with a friend and share the file....
