On line check in why?
We are flying out of gatwick next Monday (Hopefully!) and i have reserved seats, we keep getting e-mails saying we can check in on line, given we have cases to check in is there any point? what difference will it make except for the 30 seconds to print off the boarding cards or am i missing something??

Gatwick has been a pain in the bag drop section every time I've gone through there. Check in is also a pain and usually marginally worse, but it's been much of a muchness generally. Some ar5ewipes like Ryanair force you to check in online and then charge you for using the bagdrop section anyway

Even if it is only 30s on an average check-in that means one less member of staff; if not two.
Over hundreds of flights a year that is a big saving.
