I think the point of my post was missed a little. I know it costs a fortune and may not be any good and I have no intention of buying the mag.... but to all of us brought up on Bond... you can't say there isn't a bit of you that wants it

"You too can own Brian O'Conner's Toyota Supra......"

TBH I don't get it, a year and a half to build one, has anyone ever completed these models. The publication would probably stop in halfway through as no one buys these publications.

You could buy a DB5 model, an RC chopper, and a top RC car and have change for £600 quid.

Saw the ad today...

Tempted... Buit you have to do it with the main distributer, or you end up

jumping through hoops with the likes of WHS, they only stock for the initial 26

or so weeks, after that, if you dont tell them to order it, they dont stock it.

I did the art of fishing when it came out, i ended up having to go direct to

the supplier in the end as they pulled the plug to newsagents.

I saw it, and though Hell Yes!! Then thought it will be 8 quid a pop and I could probably get a very decent model for 1/2 that and alot sooner than 85 weeks!

Thats serious money for a model.

There are lots of nice, very high quality models out there for a lot less money.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Exoto-GT40-MK-...item27b7b46029

Would rather have that. Even new it was about the same price.

It certainly looks good. My old school mate had a real one and he says it was a good car.

Think I will stick to the Mini Cooper though.

If you buy the right 42 issues you may well be able to build one
