Yes exactly, how hard can it be?
Amnazing how simple taking our money is isn't it? Yet when it comes to giving a bit back and following through on an election promise in to the bargain the shifty ***** find reasons not to do it.

This seems to be a favourite comment of the coalition. A comment that seems to cover all the nasties they are imposing.
(He said the rise in fuel duty was part of Labour's plans and due to the deficit they had not been able to cancel it. )
Blame everything on the last lot so they can continue to cause serious problems for a great many people.
Must admit to being very, very disappointed in them

I wouldn't say I am disappointed in what they've done. More disappointed that they've met my expectations of them!

To be fair here the *last lot* are still blaming the whole world's problems on Maggie. *Responsibility for your own actions* is not something that politicians have in great abundance.

Cancel any hope of good news on this:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-12144966
Oh and he has also stated 20% VAT is here to stay.
Why am I even surprised?
Oh and when he defends the move by saying the country's finances were in a worse state than they realised that is BS. Before and during the election they had access to the very same information and treasury accountants as did the Labour party. The treasury acocuntants are not party members or the likes ... they are the same whether Labour or the Tories are in power.
If they genuinely have found the country to be in a worse financial state than they realised then they are also incompetent as well as liars.
It's basically just another broken promise from another lying politician.

They know the state of the finances. If they don't ,why not?
They just drip-feed us the bad news to soften the blow.

the big society -- a manifesto of the pushy middle class
more charity less government -- a clever way of distributing money from the poor to the very poor
anyone on less than a 100k a year ought to be afraid, things are going to get bumpy

No fuel escalator.
20% VAT is permanent.
But they'll remove the 50% tax bracket on earnings over 100K to encourage people to "get on".![Whatever Anim](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/Whatever_anim.gif)
What percentage of Joe Public will ever get half-way to earning 100k a year? This lot are looking after their mates, and frankly, are a total disgrace.

I put £30 in my tank today and it didn't even fill my tank halfway.
People may say its only a few pence but I am slowly but surely getting priced out of working. My earnings would be over 15k a year at the moment and running a house and car is just getting harder and harder to do. I have debt, not massive debt but i'm slowly being pushed out of being able to pay that back too, not that the banks care! They actually seem to be happier if I can't pay it back as they sure as hell aren't helping me.
When I actually was out of work and claiming jobseekers, it was a complete waste too! If I had of followed their plan I still wouldn't be in employment and due to working since before I left school, I was entitled to the minimum amount of help and nothing more.![Mad](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/mad.gif)
How come my jobless sister can afford not only to have a home but heat it, have Sky, buy her daughter Xbox360's with Kinect and go out every other weekend but I cant?
I actually hate this country sometimes. Jonny Foreigner can have it as i'm ****ing sick of it anyway.![Mad](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/mad.gif)

Liberals hate motorists just as much as NL and Old Labour do. Its a kind on inverted snobbery and they also don't like the people to have such personal freedom when they own a car. Thats the main reason for ANPR cameras.
Ever do easy to soak the motorist, and it is non stop!
