Angry Ever been had?

Cameron .... does he think everyone is stupid?

Well, Cameron and your Tory liars ..... it doesn't wash with me!!!

Bank bonuses continue apace (the Bankers are all Tories, of course!) despite Cameron saying he will come down hard on greedy Bankers.

Fuel duty continues to increase, despite all the talk of a stabiliser mechanism!!

And, to top it all off he now says that VAT will remain at 20% ... for ever ... despite Cameron saying that VAT will not increase.

Then, to add vinegar to the cut .... the 50% Tax for those getting paid more than £150,000 is to be scrapped!!

Cameron .... I could see right through your lies and lies and lies .... don't you feel sorry for tricking the simple and gullible who voted for you?

YOU ARE A DISGRACE!!!

In the meantime the average man in the street gets his pants whipped down, gets bent over by the Eton Boyz and given a right royal shafting!

It's a disgrace ...... broken promises strewn across the months since the election ...

Why would they be looking after me? I don't earn £150k.

So someone who left skule with not brilliant results, managed to just get a degree and then worked their way up from earning £130 a week in 1991 to now earning, well, a very very good salary for what accounts to leaving the house at 4:30 am on a Monday and getting home at 11:00pm on a Friday whilst working 14 hr days in between.

I think they deserve NOT to be taxed to the hilt.

That's called helping yourself and your family to a better life whilst working very ****ing hard for it and not living off the state.

If people begrudge that then that is their problem.

Can anyone see a way that British voters will be appeased in the near future other than with higher taxes? The things people want need to be paid for (usually by anyone but themselves). Seems to be human nature.

What's needed is a revolution in thinking. No doubt it will gradually come, but in the mean time the country is going to the dogs. We've lost everything else, might as well give up the majority of our freedom to a big brother/nanny state too. I doubt Cameron will change this course we're on. It's the limp-wristed f*cktards that infest the country - i.e., many of its citizens - that are main source of the problem.

That depends what YOU define as decent.
I'd say if you have to pay 50% tax then you're earning a decent wage

No way of living? Just because they have a better/different work ethic compared to the usual sponging deadheads on here?

(and I'll include OAP's in that, Pete )

Just because I collect trolleys at ASDA doesn't mean I'm poor ......

It's amazing how many £1's are left in the trolleys

What is this 'ASDA' that you speak of?

I use Waitrose as a rule, where one is trusted to not steal the trolley, therefore negating the use of a one pound coin.

(actually, a one Euro coin works just as well)

Well you said BACK OF THE NET so I ssumed you were benefitting from it.

Anyway I'm sorry but you are worng about the high earners not paying more tax. The VAT hits the very poor as well as the very rich and in a time when everything is costing more and people are earning less I woud much rather see a cut in VAT than a cut in the high rate of tax.

I take your point about how people who work hard deserve it, but really how much do you need to live on?

It is only fair that the more fortunate in a democracy contribute more than the less fortunate (let's leave scroungers out of this argument for now as that really is another issue).

You can argue all you like about how it isn't fair but it is and is no different to my taxes contributing to the education system when I have no kids. If the high rate taxpayers dont want to pay it than I don't want to support other peoples' kids.

It's called being fair and Cameron isn't. End of!
