didn't hear about that at the time, Shoreham's only down the road from me.

in a way, i guess the fact that the glider is so light actually helped. Any significant weight behind it and the cockpit would have been wiped out completely.

I bet the wing helped save him. C.A.A. report should be out some time this year.
