You can just see it now. Someone will buy this and drive through a speed camera at 120mph to show off to his mates. He'll then get done because the device jammed or the mechanism was frozen or something. If you are going to use it to break the law you'd want to stop and check it was working first, which means fixing a black bag over a normal plate would be just as effective.
