You're hardly giving loads of information away here, but in all honesty there's no real need too. If things are getting on top of you that much you have two options, either deal with it yourself or if you can't speak to someone who is trained in these matters.

Realise that even with family, friends and loved ones, you still entered this world on your own and that is the way in which you will be leaving.
Basically, nobody can change anything in your life but yourself.
A little cheesy but I like the line from Vanilla Sky, ' Every passing minute is a chance to turn it all around.'
Now, man up, smoke a ***, down a pint and scratch your ****!
But in response to OP's question........DRUGS!

It most definately is not! it can easily lead to poor decisions and solutions in the short term as it is a depressive drug, short term can become medium term can become long term dependancy. My advice would be to take up excercise, become lost in cycling or running, it really is good for more than the body. really.

I find Onanism a great stress buster. When the pressure is on, and it's all going wrong, at the end of the day you can always take it out on the old chap.
Have had the odd funny look in the office over the years, but f'k em. If people want to get stressed about it, that's their problem.

I cant even figure that out.
There are loads of ways to handle anxiety and stress, google it. It'd take ages to write it all out here. You have to learn to control the focus of your mind and force your thoughts away from the stress triggers.

I sincerely hope it works out for you. Having got that off your chest maybe has lifted a small part of your load?
Best of luck

Best thing i ever did to combat stress was close my business down and cut off the biggest supply of stress i had, which was the fecking eeejit spackers i had to deal with every day
Totally loving, not constantly thinking about everything.
Get up, go to work, finish work and just leave everything alone as i walk back to the works car park, repeat.
Seriously, normal "employed" folk dont know how fecking easy they have it.
