DAYLIGHT SAVING BILL...???
Prog. debating it on ITV1 now.
I think the proposal is to put the clocks forward 1 hour in winter and 2 hours in summer, so as to to enjoy more daylight at end of daytime (at the expense of longer darker mornings).
What're all your views on it?............

Absolutely. If they want us all at on the same time then let them put their clocks back to UK time!

..locks....To it all! Stop effing about with the clocks, set it at one time and LEAVE IT ALONE!
It worse than those automatic watch wearers than keep shaking their wrist to keep their watch wound up
I've actually replaced the central heating programmer for one that automatically adjusts the DST so that I don't have to keep pratting about twice a year re-setting the time.

To be fair, when the clocks were left on BST as an 'experiment' back in the '70s the Jockanese were as for it as the rest of us
It was the farmers who were against the change being made permanent, and in those days they were a powerful influence within the govenring Tory party

Nope, ANYONE who was actually around at the time of the "experiment" would consider the "lighter later" proposal as total madness!!!

Er, as a child of the 60's i certainly was not "for it" at the time after walking to school in my "diddy jacket" whilst freezing to death in the dark

I'm definitely for it now, I drive to work in the dark, and am already in the office when the sun rises, makes no odds to me if it rises an hour later. But on the other hand it would be nice to have a little daylight after work
