I have one for all occasions. A seiko kinetic.
It's great. By comparing the angles of the big and little hands, it tells me when I need to get up, eat, drink, and go to bed. It can do all this 100m underwater, and also in the dark.

Omega seamaster all the way for me, used to collect watches but once I got my Seamaster that was me done. Got rid of the rest and wear the Omega everyday no matter what activity I am up to. 8 years old now and still looks brand new.

Still can't beat a Tag Heuer F1 Chronograph with either Orange or Red face IMO

I've wore my Omega mid size seamaster pretty much every day for the last 8 years or so now, as it just feels right on my wrist, but still occasonally wear my nite mx10.

My Breitling Airwolf. I always wanted a Breitling and bought one for pretty much half price when I was in Dubai 4 years ago. Would love a Emergency Orbiter 3, maybe soon!
Also have a Garmin Forerunner 310XT for my phys.

Anyone have a gold casio digital? They look the business!
Out of interest, are watches like cars in that you get drawn to a brand or are they something you buy purely for function?

My favorite is my Breitling Navitimer World.
Second favorite is my Oris Regulateur “Der Meistertaucher”.
Was hoping to buy another Breitling this year, but with work at the moment, I think it would be a bit careless to spunk a few grand on a new watch.

Tag Heuer Formular 1, with a medium size face because i think wearing something the size of the town hall clock strapped to your wrist looks ridiculous. However, £500 for a watch is my absolute limit as i couldn't justify paying more than that.
