For the general stuff.
I did most of my Christmas pressie shopping on line this year, not a problem. Just taken delivery of two car emergency bulb sets at £2.95 per set including 3 headlight bulbs in each set - thanks to a post on SN about them. also a DVD (Ghost in the Shell) which i got for 1.50.
Prices are excellent, quality is good no fakes so far - much more reliable and painless than fleabay and paypal.

Over the last 6 month i have bought directly from Amazon and third parties via Amazon with no trouble, Usual stuff, check the feedback for the company and for the item as well and so far no problems. I guess i have bought some 20 or so items, lot of electrical stuff, MP3 players, games, music, DVD's, kids scooters, etc. Got some real bargains, cheaper that a lot of the high street shops for sure!

They do seem to have better control on fraud side and sales of stolen goods etc.
Thats where I get my printer toner from since epson bumped up the price by £20 per cartridge (£65 now )....£11 for a compatible cartridge is a no-brainer.
The only issue I have is some companies are slow at dishing out VAT invoices.

I buy stuff from Amazon just about every week. Great website, great company.
Usually just go for the free delivery. Last one at the beginning of the week was just a book at around £7. First class says 1-2 business days... free delivery on that book and it arrived on the 2nd business day.

I really rate Amazon. I bought a 32"LCD back in 2007, it went wrong (speaker/sound issues) after 6 or so months, Amazon replaced it within two days - no fuss or hassle!
