Darkys is currently at 9.3 beta, ive gone for 9.2EE

Iv'e flashed hardcores speedmod kernal, which is meant to be good for battery life

just done a 100% charge, so we'll see

Mind you i dont run 3Gs, due to no mast near where i work, so it constantly hunts for a signal, raping the battery

Mart360: Why don't you turn off 3G? In the options you can set it to GSM mode only.

I now use the Galaxy S instead of my Blackberry and GSM mode is fast enough to push my email constantly via Active Exchange.

I'm looking forward to the Galaxy S2 which will be here in a few weeks -- although not at the rumoured £500!

Erm.... I don't know. It just works

Under Settings, Wireless and Network I have:

Mobile Network: Use Packet Data = Tick, Network mode = GSM Only

Under Settings, Accounts and Sync I have:

Background Data = tick, Auto-Sync = tick and then my email account sync is on.
